Synopsis:
Everyone just stop for one bleeping minute so we can all get real with each other. Being a mom is some tough $#!†. You're constantly wearing questionable substances that make you ask, "is this chocolate or ... oh, crap ..." and your purse is merely a receptacle for three-week-old snacks and broken crayons.
Let's be honest ... even when we're doing this “mom” thing right, we're somehow doing it completely wrong.
Pardon us while we dust off our collective Mother of the Year trophy and proudly present you with an epic anthology of #MOMFAILS.
*Stories inspired by real life (unless you’re a cop, then it’s all complete fiction). Names and situations have been changed to protect the guilty (and by guilty, we mean the moms). Because motherhood is a battlefield and we're all just trying to survive by any means necessary.

This was a nice collection of experiences/anecdotes and stories. Especially for future moms and dads and those that went through the same struggles because I’m sure it will help strengthen their self-esteem and lets them know that they aren’t alone. No matter if it’s poop all over you, crying babies or burned food, parents do an amazing job and no matter what goes wrong, know that as long as you did your best, you are never a bad mom or dad.
This was the first anthology of sorts for me and it surely was a nice read but I noticed that I prefer longer stories (no matter of real life or fiction). Although I have to acknowledge that it is a nice way to have something to read and laugh in between when you have a too stressful life for a full-length novel.
This book is a nice way to show the people who believe that a stay-at-home-mom has a great time not working, that kids can be a real handful and that it’s almost impossible to find time for yourself. Being a parent is not as easy as it might seem and this bundle of joy sums it up pretty well in an entertainingly fun way.
What to expect:
---
Sex Weeks by Piper Rayne
It's like everything that could go bad, went bad. Poor Charlie had a hard day when all she wanted was to finally have a good time in bed with her husband after she finally got cleared from her doctor to have a go at it.
Burned food, crying kids, handling it all alone without time to even take a shower. To be a mom can be really tough but the good and happy times make all the work worth it, right?
....
Watch me Tip by A.M. Willard
One of many embarrassing moments from a real life mom on how your own breasts can turn against you and what happens when you’re in a hurry to go home.
.....
Okayest Mom Ever by GiA Riley
Hospitals and Nurses. Pain and Husbands. Fun to read though anything but to experience.
....
What's that smell? by Shari J. Ryan
When something helpful turns into the opposite and baby’s first flight into a smelly and embarrassing adventure.
