I believe there is something wrong with me. I didn’t laugh at all during this read. What was I missing?!
The Story:
Charlie has the hots for her boss Cooper though he is off limits. When she starts a night job selling sex toys she finds herself at her first appointment at a bachelor party where she was expected to be a stripper. How will she turn this into a success? And what will she do about her boss since he obviously likes what he sees but will she give in to him?
Thoughts:
A.M. Willard really knows how to write a blurb. This one had it all and I couldn't wait to read this book. I was prepared for fits of laughter and swoon worthy scenes though they never happened. Sadly this book was really short although it's just part one and will continue. But I have to say that I was a bit disappointed because the story moved way too fast. First Charlie mentioned that her boss was off limits because he was her boss but shortly after they were getting it on without anything in between. There was just no sexual tension leading to it. He suddenly wanted her and she had no problem with it. I couldn't deal with the fact that he was so sure of himself that he just took what he wanted even though she was his employee and he couldn't have known that she liked him.
I didn't get the whole night job thing though I thought I would be in for some fun but her first sex toy party wasn't at all what I expected. She excelled in everything as it seemed despite believing otherwise.
The story was a nice read for in-between although really short but I expected more of it. Even though I know there is a second part or more coming I still think there was so much left out. Wham bam thank you ma’am. That's how it felt for me. It's a pity because the plot was so promising. I don't know yet if I'll continue with this series.
