Book Review: The Consequence (The Evolution Of Sin Book 3) by Giana Darling

If I could have, I would’ve read the book in one day because it was so good, I didn’t want to put it down; but life got in the way a lot. Can I just say how much I loved this book?! I was so excited for the conclusion and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I liked how it was about Sin and Elle but in a subtle way and not in your face (if you get what I mean) because they had to deal with lots of consequences since their decision to be together and they didn’t brag or were showy.

The suspense heightened all other emotions, which made for a wild emotional ride. I was angry with Elena but also sad with Elle and happy with Sinclair. I was kept on my toes by the story because of its unexpected turns of events, some of which I wouldn’t have guessed.

The Story:
Giselle and Sin want to be together no matter the consequences because they knew as long as they have each other, everything else is rather negligible.
Despite their deep love, they have no easy start in their relationship because even now that Sin drew a line between him and Elena, she’s still somewhat present between them. She’s in their minds and casting a shadow on their relationship.
The question now is whether they will be able to cut her out and move on to a healthy relationship or if their future together is doomed. Can their young love blossom or will it eventually crumble under the weight of guilt and others’ contemptuous attitude towards them?
“You can call yourself whatever you want, Elle, as long as it implies that you are mine.”
Thoughts:
I loved Sin and Elle. I was fascinated by how strong and unshakable their bond was. Their relationship had never been in good grace by anything or anyone but they still fought for their love. I was glad that once they finally decided to be together, they really sticked to it, because the indecisiveness of Sinclar in the previous book bothered me a little. So, I was really happy how he handled the situation with Elena.

Elena’s rage was overwhelming though understandable because who wouldn’t be furious and hurt when something like that happened to you?

I'll definitely stick around for this author’s next work and I seriously hope that there will be a book for Cosima and Sebastian some time. Because I love the twins!

-- I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. --
